Xamarin’s First Developer Evangelist for India

Today, I’m super excited to announce that I joined Xamarin as their first developer evangelist for India! A country that is home to IT services giants like TCS, CTS, Wipro, Infosys, HCL and few others. We have an incredible amount of software developers and passionate professionals who contribute to the entire computing industry. To enable these professionals with the right tools, training & guidance and helping them be more successful at whatever they’re trying to accomplish is what I’m really excited about.

My job includes spreading the Xamarin Love by speaking at Developer Conferences, User Groups and other IT events. If you spot me at an event in India, don’t forget to say a “Hi” and say you read my blog :-). You can also read the updates on my personal blog where I will be sharing technical know-hows and other India specific experiences.

I’ve been writing softwares for web & windows platforms for almost a decade now. Last year I moved on to an Evangelist role where I got a chance to interact and work with some amazing customers and helped them achieve success. Be it helping startups build prototypes or helping a large enterprise save millions of dollars,  It’s infinitely satisfying to see them achieve their goals and being part of their success story.

I’m based in Silicon Valley of India, Bangalore and will be travelling across the country covering major IT hubs – Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Kolkata, & Thiruvanathapuram and empowering developers with Xamarin!
