.NET 6 Preview 1 is now available and ready for evaluation. This is the first preview of .NET 6, the next major update to the .NET platform. .NET 6 is expected to ship in November of this year, and will be a Long Term Support (LTS) release. If you're on Windows using Visual Studio, we recommend installing the latest preview of Visual Studio 2019 16.9. If you're on macOS, we recommend installing the latest preview of Visual Studio 2019 for Mac 8.9.
