I just got word from Gent Hito (president of /n software) that after 6 months of beta testing NetCmdlets, they are going to be officially launching it (them? J) at TechEd in Orlando next week! Gent is also giving away a 100 copies FREE at their booth. Obviously this will be on a first come, first served basis so you’ll want to trip the people in front of you and walk over their bodies when the doors open – or not. Gent said that these won’t be given out to any j-random attendee, you’ll have to give the magic passphrase, “I read about the free software offer in the PowerShell blog” (I thought “rosebud” would have been a better password myself. ) Now if that isn’t cool enough – get a load of this. They are also giving away a cool “PowerShell-Skinned XBox 360”. You can see it here and sign up for the free drawing. If you are at TechEd, go sign up by their booth. The winner will be announced on June 8th. They also have some cool PowerShell Stickers for your car or laptop which you can get for free from their booth or their website at the link above. I’ve got one my laptop and I can’t get out of a meeting without people asking me where they can get one – it is soooo cool. Gent set up a Flickr group (“PowerShell-Driven”) where you can show your love for PowerShell uploading a photo: http://www.flickr.com/groups/powershell I said it before, I’ll say it again: This train keeps gathering steam!
