Visual Studio 2013 Update 4 RC is now available to download. This release has lots of small features and fixes for ASP.NET and web platform, Team Foundation Server, Visual C++, JavaScript Editor, Testing Tools, and some other areas. The final release of Python Tools 2.1 for Visual Studio (PTVS) is available for download. PTVS is available for Visual Studio 2010, Visual Studio 2012, and Visual Studio 2013. As part of providing pre-release versions of Visual Studio running as Azure Virtual Machines (VMs), we now provide you with an easy way to test drive the Visual Studio Tools for Apache Cordova. If you didn’t already know, we announced earlier this year that we are going to integrate Apache Cordova into Visual Studio. This will help developers use HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to build, debug, and deploy hybrid JavaScript apps that run on Android, iOS, and Windows devices. Visual Studio “14” CTP 4 and TypeScript 1.1 CTP Released
Today we released Visual Studio “14” CTP 4. To get started, download the bits (also available on MSDN subscriber downloads page), or use one of the VMs in Azure. This CTP includes all features and fixes from previous CTPs, and: ASP.NET vNext tooling and runtime updates. Visual Studio “14” CTP 4 supports NuGet Package Manager and package manager console for ASP.NET vNext projects. Visual Studio 2013 Update 4 CTP 2 (And More) Available
We have four releases today. First, Visual Studio 2013 Update 4 CTP 2 is available, including a few features (e.g. performance improvements for the Visual C++ browsing experience) and some bug fixes.
