Azure Artifacts feed continues to make product accessible to everyone

As Azure Artifacts continues to be a central place where thousands of developers host, consume, manage packages and share build artifacts, it remains imperative that our user interfaces are accessible.

Azure Artifacts Feeds now supports Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, the latest accessibility recommendations from the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). This aligns with Microsoft’s goal to make products and services accessible to everyone.

In addition, we have changed the format of URLs for the artifacts feed User Interface to be easily readable and consistent with Azure DevOps URLs. As a result, any previous links to Azure Artifact Feeds UI should be updated.

Old URLs take the form

  • https://dev.azure.com/myOrganization/myProject/_packaging?_a=feed&feed=myFeed

The equivalent readable URL would be

  • https://dev.azure.com/myOrganization/myProject/_artifacts/feed/myFeed
