Azure Active Directory Premium is now in limited preview in Azure Government
We are excited to announce a limited preview of Azure Active Directory Premium in Azure Government! This preview is for customers that have specific compliance needs (e.g., FedRAMP or DoD requirements), and while certifications aren't in place yet, we plan to have them in place for general availability. Announcing General Availability of Blob Storage (Hot/Cool) in US Gov Virginia
We are happy to announce the generally availability of Blob Storage accounts in US Gov Virginia. The feature is now enabled in three regions including the recently announced US Gov Arizona and US Gov Texas. Blob storage accounts are specialized storage accounts for storing your unstructured data as blobs (objects) in Azure Storage. With Blob Storage accounts, you can choose between hot and cool storage tiers to store your less frequently accessed (cool) data at a lower storage cost, and store more frequently accessed (hot) data at a lower access cost. Azure Monitor now available in Azure Government
With Azure Monitor, you can now consume monitoring metrics and logs within the portal and via APIs in near real-time and gain more visibility into the state and performance of your resources. Azure Monitor provides you the ability to configure alert rules to get notified or to take automated actions on issues impacting your resources. Azure Monitor enables analytics, troubleshooting, and a unified dashboarding experience within the portal, in addition to enabling a wide range of product integrations via APIs and data export options.
