Microsoft Graph is a data and intelligence gateway to Microsoft 365. You can access data from Office 365, Windows 10 and much more including the following:

  • Office 365 services: Delve, Excel, Microsoft Bookings, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, OneNote, Outlook/Exchange, Planner, and SharePoint
  • Enterprise Mobility and Security services: Advanced Threat Analytics, Advanced Threat Protection, Azure Active Directory, Identity Manager, and Intune
  • Windows 10 services: activities, devices, notifications
  • Dynamics 365 Business Central

The Microsoft Graph API provide REST APIs and SDKs for accessing the Graph endpoints to query and perform actions.

Microsoft Graph, Microsoft Graph data connect, and Microsoft Graph connectors enable extending Microsoft 365 experiences and building intelligent apps.

Some examples of actions that the Microsoft Graph API can perform things such as looking at your calendar information to find times of availability for scheduling meetings, accessing files that may relate to meetings happening this week, and building intelligence and insights from data across Microsoft 365.
