Every project as a unique project, every app is a new passion to learn, discover and improve news ways to make easier the industrial process and their human interaction.

·        Please tell us about an app that you’re working on at the moment.

LinQ, VB XML, Intellisense with new Facilities & Interaction between editor/debugger/compiler, Inference, Anonymous types…etc.

·        What do you like most about VB as a programming language?

Over time, computer history describes two main groups of developers. The first one is system oriented, and the other is applications oriented.

With no doubt “Basic”, thinking in terms of language concepts, is the best language to develop user’s applications, after six versions of the runtime; the new era of VB and .NET reinforce the essence of “it’s easy!, no try… just do it”. For this reason probably, VB is the most adapted language in windows environment, and for a large number of applications programmers around the world.

The first thought about VB for a lot of people is the ability to start programming from scratch and get immediate results. It’s incredible what a short time is needed to familiarize oneself with the environment and syntax. The excellent integration between intellisense/editor and debugger/compiler of VB, allows beginners to start with a very “basic” or very simple program complexity, in same way that it gives experts the power of the best high level languages, building complex and robust applications providing access to all technologies applied to operating system.

In itself VB is friendly, easy, clear and instantaneous. I like VB, because is readable at first glance for any person or programmer of any other language. It is the best choice for millions of programmers from a long time ago, in early versions of operating systems, until today.

For me, VB is wonderful because over more than 30 years of programming, seasons go by writing programs in Assembler, Cobol, Pascal, C, Etc, but in all this time I’ve never stopped writing programs in Basic. In my case, the major part of productive applications for my business are developed using VB.
