Summary: Find BIOS information about your virtual machines by using Windows PowerShell.

Hey, Scripting Guy! Question How can I use Windows PowerShell to find the bios information for a number of older virtual machines
          running Hyper-V in Windows Server 2012 R2?

Hey, Scripting Guy! Answer Identify the first generation virtual machines, then pipe the results to the Get-VMBios cmdlet:

get-vm | where generation -eq 1 | Get-VMBios

Note  This command requires admin rights.
