Summary: Learn about a quick troubleshooting tip for the Get-VM cmdlet.

Hey, Scripting Guy! Question I am using the Get-VM cmdlet to find information about virtual machines on my local laptop, but it does not
appear to do anything. What could be the matter?

Hey, Scripting Guy! Answer The Get-VM cmdlet must be run with Admin permissions. But unfortunately, it does not tell you that when
run in a non-elevated Windows PowerShell console. To launch the Windows PowerShell console with
Admin permissions, right-click the Windows PowerShell console icon and select Run as Administrator
           from the action menu.
