A little while ago, I mentioned that the hallways of Microsoft Building 41 retell the history of computing. There are also small tributes to the history of Microsoft in those buildings in the floor numbering signs.
The fifth floor sign evokes the Windows fluttering flag motif from the 1990s:
The fourth floor sign hints at the Blibbet version of the Microsoft logo (time code 0:58) in its striped circular center.
Any idea where the name “Blibbet” might come from? According to some websites (e.g. https://www.fineprintart.com/history-of-the-microsoft-logo/), it was a nickname invented by staff, but I’m having trouble finding anything beyond that.
