Learn from the community is a series of articles to highlight real-life project scenarios covered in Show & Tell interviews at Microsoft 365 Developer YouTube. It’s a great opportunity for me to inspire you with the end-to-end solutions built upon Microsoft Cloud and help you for your next project with useful resources.

Learn from the community for Microsoft Teams

As an employee, it is important to feel passionate and committed to our jobs. Likewise, companies often look for ways to understand employees’ needs to make changes accordingly within the organizations and most importantly put an effort to make their employees feel valued by their organization. Microsoft Learn Student Ambassador Japhlet joined my colleague, Lee Stott, and me in this session to talk about a solution that is designed to embed surveys on Microsoft Teams and get reviews from the employees at frequent intervals.

This Anonymous Employee Engagement Survey solution is built by using Microsoft Power Platform and can be implemented on Microsoft Teams either as Power App or Power Virtual Agent Bot:

  • A SharePoint list is generated to store employees’ responses
  • A flow is created with Power Automate to gather employees’ responses from Power App or Power Virtual Agent bot and save the responses on a SharePoint list
  • A survey bot is developed using Power Virtual Agents, dialogs are defined to ask rating questions to employees and collect their responses
  • Power Apps is used to build an application to ask questions and collect ratings from the employees
  • Microsoft Teams is used as a channel to interact with Power App and Power Virtual Agent bot

Anonymous Employee Engagement Survey solution is an open-source solution and can be reused by different organizations. Check out the interview here 👇
