Subscription lifetime changes for Outlook resources

We are in the process of deploying a change to the OutlooK REST API and Microsoft Graph that will expire subscriptions to Outlook-related resources (mail, calendar, contacts, tasks) automatically when certain security-related events occur.

Outlook REST API v1.0 BasicAuth Deprecation

Last year, we announced that on November 2018, we will stop supporting Basic Authentication in the Office 365 Outlook REST API v1.0 and this is a follow up announcement to reiterate that we will be decommissioning Basic Authentication in Outlook REST API v1.0 this month.

Announcing Immutable ID for Outlook resources in Microsoft Graph

In the coming weeks, we're rolling out a new feature designed to make it easier to work with Outlook item IDs: Immutable ID. With this feature, Microsoft Graph will provide an identifier in the id property that will not change over the lifetime of the item, so long as the item stays in the same mailbox.
