And if you’re still finalizing your checklist of what to attend at the conference, either in-person or online, check out this helpful guide of featured sessions for security professionals of all levels.

As anticipation builds, we remain focused on helping address the real, everyday challenges you face. Here’s a brief overview of a feature, delivered in October, aimed at giving you more insights into customer behavior.

Empowering decision-making with user insights

User insights dashboard (Public Preview)

Data is invaluable, but if you don’t have the right tools to understand it, its potential is often left untapped. At Microsoft, we truly understand the importance of user metrics and that’s why we’ve created the User Insights Dashboard. It allows you to query user metrics such as total user count, monthly active users (MAU), new users added, and MFA usage. It also makes it easier for you to feed the metrics into Azure Monitor and other data aggregation platforms.

On the Entra portal dashboard, you can see out-of-the-box dashboards that display core monitoring and cost reporting views, such as MAU per app, monthly MFA usage, and sign-ins by country. This allows you to evaluate the direct impact of customization configurations on end user experience.

We want these user metrics to provide you with direct insights into user trends, activity, and authentication usage, ensuring you’re looking at the bigger picture that informs strategic application development improvements.

Visit our docs to learn more about how to access this new feature and how to view, query, and analyze user activity.
