Are the Patches cumulative? Meaning, if we haven’t done the earlier patches, can we just install the latest and be fine?

    Hello-

Any chance Azure DevOps Server will support TLS for the Email Alerts? My IT admin are telling me that they will soon require it. Thank you!

    Good morning Gloridel,

I work in the DoD space and maintain an on prem instance of AzDevOps. My question for you and the community is when will AzDevOps support FIPS 140-2? I currently have FIPS disabled however Its CAT 1 finding so I was wondering if there are any plans to correct this issue? We are unable to connect to the cloud so we must continue to use our on-prem instance. Please advise. Thank you

Hi Jon, we don’t have plans to support FIPS.

    Hi Gloridel,

Apologies, I’m new to DevOps patching and wondered if you could answer the following?

We are currently running 2020.1.2 Patch 6 and I’m looking at applying Patch 14.

    1) I take it I don’t need to apply Patches 7 onwards, they are all rolled up into Patch 14?
    2) Do I need to apply the Azure Pipelines agent updates mentioned in Patch 8 before applying Patch 14?

    Regards,

    Paul

Hi Paul, for patching Azure DevOps Server 2020.1.2 you will have to implement patches as described in the release notes for Patch 8, Patch 10 and then you can install Patch 14. Patch 8 and 10 includes updates that require manual updates.
