Join us at Red Hat’s DevNation Federal 2016 in Washington, DC – July 28

Karina Homme
Senior Director

This week, Microsoft is made several announcements highlighting our commitment to customer choice and support for open source technologies, including Monday’s general availability of .NET Core 1.0 and ASP.NET Core 1.0. This release is a huge accomplishment for the entire open source ecosystem – with more than 18,000 developers representing more than 1,300 companies contributing to .NET Core 1.0.

With the release of .NET Core 1.0, Red Hat also announced that they are now actively supporting .NET Core 1.0 on Red Hat Enterprise Linux, extending the benefits of .NET to the entire Red Hat ecosystem.  This is the first in a sizable list of announcements that illustrate the continued growth of our partnership with Red Hat.

Today, Microsoft is working across public sector and the developer community to help our customers achieve more in government modernization with open source.  In partnership with Red Hat, the Microsoft Azure Government team invites you to join us at DevNation Federal event Thursday, July 28 in Washington, DC where we will speak to our latest open source innovation efforts in government.

Space is limited. For more information or to register, visit the DevNation Federal site.
