Azure standard support for U.S. Azure Government customers
In response to customer requests for support that includes (1) a fixed monthly cost, (2) fast response times for critical cases, and (3) a plan that covers the entire organization, we’re pleased to announce important updates for Azure Standard support. With these changes, Azure now offers the most cost effective and predictable support offering.
For all Azure Government customers, Standard Support now includes the following:
- U.S. Azure Government customers who purchased or plan to purchase Azure Standard support directly from Azure.com under a Microsoft Online Services Agreement will see a price change from $375 USD per month to $125 USD per month.
- Current Azure Government Standard support customers will receive a credit of $250 USD per month until their term renews with the new price of $125 USD per month.
- Faster initial response time, now at 1 hour for critical cases (severity A cases).
- Unlimited 24×7 technical and billing support for your entire organization, which already exists today.
*Note: The Standard support plan price remains unchanged for Azure Government customers who purchased or plan to purchase Azure Standard Support under an Enterprise Agreement. Azure Government customers who purchased support under Enterprise Agreement can be eligible for the Enterprise Agreement Support Plan Upgrade Offer to receive additional benefits.
Azure is continuously improving and expanding the range of options to help you accelerate your cloud journey. There are also unique support options for different types of Azure customers, including Developer, Standard, Professional Direct, and Premier.
