Release Supportability
- Starting in September 2021, new Azure SDK libraries will support Python versions 3+. The Python community announced end of support of Python 2 on January 1, 2020. They’re encouraging all developers to upgrade to Python 3 to avoid any issues and potential security vulnerabilities in their apps. The Python Software Foundation (PSF), provides a tool (2to3) to automatically migrate from Python 2 to Python 3 and a migration guide with more detailed information.
- The preview of Azure Purview Account will no longer be updated since the package features have been merged into the wider package Azure Purview Administration.
- From July 2021 onward, updated JavaScript libraries dropped support for Node.js 8, which reached end of life in January 2020. For more details, please see our support policy.
