Microsoft Ignite 2023 is around the corner! (Nov 14-17)

Microsoft Ignite 2023, scheduled for November 14th – 17th, is quickly approaching. As one of the most anticipated developer events of the year, we’re pleased to announce that although in-person tickets have been sold out for weeks, we’re offering a free online streaming option for those who couldn’t secure a spot. However, it’s essential to register in advance to ensure access. 

This year’s Ignite will feature the latest announcements on AI/Copilot advancements, comprehensive demos of new features and functionalities, and insights into the trajectory of tech developments. Notably, in addition to presentations by our senior leaders, attendees can look forward to breakout sessions featuring Visual Studio led by Amanda Silver (CVP Developer Division), Scott Hanselman, and Anthony Cangialosi. These sessions are set to deliver crucial announcements, in-depth demos, and valuable insights tailored for our Visual Studio developers. 

In this blog post, we will provide a step-by-step guide to the online registration process and offer an overview of the developer breakout discussions scheduled to be streamed live during Ignite 2023.

Online Registration 

  1. Visit the Ignite 2023 Website: Head over to the Ignite 2023 website to kick off the registration process. 
  1. Sign In / Create Your New Account: If you’re new to Microsoft events, you’ll need to connect an existing account or create a new account. 
  1. Select The Digital Access Pass: The entire Ignite conference will be streamed online, register to get your digital access pass. Our Seattle in-person access passes are already sold out, but if you have an in-person RSVP code those are still valid and will work. 
  1. Complete Your Registration: Fill in your personal details, payment information (if applicable), and any additional information requested. Double-check your registration to ensure accuracy. 
  1. Confirmation: Once you’ve completed the registration, you’ll receive a confirmation email. This email will include important details about your registration, including access to the event platform. 
  1. Explore Ignite Sessions and Get Ready for Ignite 2023! As the event date approaches, make sure to keep an eye on your inbox for updates and additional information. 

Developer Breakout Discussions 

One of the most exciting aspects of Ignite 2023 is the developer breakout discussions. These discussions are where the real magic happens for developers. The developer breakout discussions will be streamed live, allowing you to join from the comfort of your own workspace or wherever you prefer. Here’s what you can look forward to:
