New MVP: Nick Parker

Heath Stewart
Principal Software Engineer

It’s official: an old acquaintance of mine from DevHood that became my intern and then a close friend is a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional for Visual C#, a member of the community that has shown outstanding commitment to helping developers (for development-oriented technologies) grow intellectually and to answer questions whenever they can. He’s been very active back in Iowa with the Iowa .NET User Group as well as my haunt, the Code Project C# forum and related forums. I had previously blogged that he had recently been listed on the Visual C# Developer Centers blogs listing.

The MVP program is an excellent way to promote those who help in the community as well as promoting Microsoft products and technologies. I was fond of the MVP program when I was an MVP up until my employment with Microsoft.

I know we will see more from Nick over time and I’m proud of what he has accomplished.
