Our principles for using AI-generated content on Microsoft Developer Blogs

Authors may sometimes use AI services to generate some of the text and code examples that we publish on Microsoft Developer Blogs. This article describes our approach for using AI to generate technical content that supports our products and services. We understand that AI-generated content isn’t always accurate. We are committed to testing and reviewing AI-generated content before we publish it.

Our authors may use AI to augment their content creation process. We’re transparent about articles that contain AI-generated content. All articles that contain any AI-generated content include text acknowledging the role of AI. You’ll see this text at the very top of the article.

All AI-generated content is reviewed and revised as needed. The article is eligible for publishing only after it is cleared. The author tests all AI-generated code before publishing. The author either manually tests the code or runs it through an automated test process.
