Power Platform Global AI #HackTogether Keynote Recap and What’s Coming

Last week we launched The Power Platform Global AI #HackTogether – a virtual hackathon all about using AI in the Power Platform. Here’s what happened last week and what’s still to come.

Week 0 Recap

Last week, we kicked off the virtual hackathon with a keynote by Ryan Cunningham (Vice President, Power Apps).

Ryan gave an insightful presentation on how AI can empower developers to create smarter and more intuitive applications. This can result in more personalized and efficient software that can cater to the needs of individual users and tackle big challenges.

Later in the session, April Dunnam showed us how to get ready for the Hackathon and gave us some tips and tricks to make the most out of the hack. She was joined by Daniel Laskewitz, who went over the logistics and award categories. He also revealed some key tips on how to impress the judges and win some awesome prizes. The categories were:

  • The Grand Prize
  • The Best Better Together Use Case
  • The Best AI Powered Solution
  • The Best Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Use Case

Then we got some more excitement as Gomolemo Mohapi revealed the amazing prizes you can win by participating in this challenge! What’s on deck this week?

In week 1 of the Power Platform AI Global HackTogther, we have series of sessions to introduce the Power Platform Copilots, AI Builder and Azure OpenAI. These are sessions to dive deeper into the Power Platform capabilities and get to know the people who help to bring these apps to life.
