On May 5, 2022, we hosted a two-hour, virtual Microsoft Tech events for Microsoft 365 developers where we showed how you can build compelling Microsoft 365 applications for your organization.

Overview of Microsoft Tech Days

Together with our Most Valuable Professional (MVP) speakers: Rick van Rousselt, Thomy Gölles, Stephan Bisser, Paolo Pialorsi and Albert-Jan Schot, we walked through an example scenario of supporting employees who get back to the office and need to book a seat. We talked about various roles and requirements involved with the process and how our solution would integrate with Microsoft 365 to support them.

Why build applications with Microsoft 365 platform?

The true power of extending Microsoft 365 with custom applications is more than just benefiting from Microsoft identity platform security features or workplace insights exposed through Microsoft Graph. It’s being able to bring applications to where people are, so they can complete their tasks in the context of their work. During the event, we shared how developers can build different experiences from Microsoft Viva Connections to Adaptive Card extensions to conversational bots for Microsoft Teams – all to bring the application to people and adapt it to different styles of work.

Next steps

We wish you could have joined us live. But if you couldn’t, we have great news! The recording is now available to watch on demand here.
