Go 1.27.2-2 Microsoft build now available

Principal SWE Manager

A new release of the Microsoft build of Go is now available for download.

Microsoft-specific changes

This release includes significant changes specific to the Microsoft build of Go:

  • Adds a GODEBUG setting named ms_tlsmldsacert. Set it to 0 to omit ML-DSA certificate signature advertisements. ML-DSA cipher suites are not affected by this setting. This helps avoid connection resets from non-compliant TLS-inspecting middleboxes that reject ML-DSA in signature_algorithms_cert. The default value, 1, preserves upstream behavior. See the TLS settings documentation for more information.
  • Adds support for persistent Microsoft telemetry preferences through Go’s standard environment configuration, such as go env -w and the toolset’s installed go.env file. Telemetry is enabled by default, but distributions like Azure Linux can disable it by default by modifying go.env. See the Telemetry documentation for more information.
