A new set of Microsoft Go builds is now available for download. These builds do not contain any changes to the Go toolset, runtime, or standard library functionality. For this release, we’ve changed the publish location of our build assets to the download.visualstudio.microsoft.com CDN. Please let us know if you encounter any issues with the new location by commenting here or filing an issue on the microsoft/go GitHub repository.

We ran this release without any toolset changes to focus on testing the CDN publish process and downloads from the new location. Updating from v1.22.5-1 to v1.22.5-2 is optional, but trying it out will help us ensure the new CDN location works as expected.

We don’t plan to update Azure Linux to use this new revision. The Azure Linux build system uses our GitHub Release artifacts directly and is unaffected by the change to use the CDN.
