Which version of elasticsearch is compaible with Azure DevOps Server 2020.1? 6.2.4?

The data migration tool to support 2020.1 will be released around the penultimate week of July 2021. While we typically release the new data import tool within a couple of weeks of any new server release, this time it is taking a bit more time than we anticipated. Please accept our sincere apologies for this delay and rest assured that we are actively working on this.

    Thanks, Rajesh

    Hi
I'm a little confused, I want to migrate from Azure DevOps Server 2020.0.1 to Azure DevOps Services (at the end of June).

I have a message saying that the migration tool will not work for Azure DevOps Server 2020.0.1 from 14th June and I need to upgrade to Azure DevOps Server 2020.1.

However, the data migration tool available is only for 2020.0.1 (DataMigrationTool_AzureDevOps2020.0.1RTW_18.170.14715315.zip).
When will the migration tool for Azure DevOps Server 2020.1 be available?
    Thanks

      Hi Barry

You should be able to migrate from 2020.0.1 till we release the new version of the data migration tool for 2020.1 RTW. You can ignore the 14th June message for now. We will also provide a couple of weeks of buffer after we release the tool to support 2020.1.

      Thanks, Rajesh

HI Kevin – This is still in progress and is taking a bit more time than we anticipated. We expect to release the data migration tool for 2020.1 around the penultimate week of July.

Hi Nikita, we plan to have a minor release at the end of the summer or early fall. Should cover fixes for any issues that are found in Azure DevOps Server 2020.1.
