Our RIA Apps Architecture with Silverlight 2.0 Event! (Madrid Sept. 24th)
We’re actually today running an event in Madrid about RIA Apps Architecture with Silverlight 2.0.
The event content is oriented towards Software Architects.
Our main speaker is Josh Holmes (RIA Architect Evangelists, based on U.S.) because he’s starting a roadshow around Europe.
After his speech, we’ll run one hour about Q&A (Chalk & Talk), and during the evening we’ll run . 🙂
You can see our agenda/abstract down below:
09:30 – 12:30 Developing RIAs with Silverlight 2.0
Target audience: 100+ Solution Architects and Senior Developers
Abstract: Rich Internet Applications (RIA) provide a similar user experience than traditional desktop applications combined with the ease of deployment of web/browser based applications. We explore architectural patterns such as state management, fault tolerance, service composition, communications protocols, message formats and go into details how RIAs can be developed using Microsoft Silverlight 2.0.
12:30 – 13:30 Chalk & Talk (Q&A)
Anything attendees want to ask about RIA apps and Silverlight 2.0!
RIA Lab (30 attendees max)
Don’t you really know it?, Wanna touch it!, We’ll be using VS.2008 and Expression Blend to develop things like “consuming WCF Services from Silverlight 2.0”.
