Today we announced the release of the Load Testing Feature Pack. This gives Visual Studio Ultimate with MSDN users the ability to do unlimited load testing. Previously you had to separately purchase Load Test Packs that each included the ability to simulate a certain number of virtual users and could be stacked to simulate very high loads. This has now all been incorporated into Ultimate Edition (including the load agent software necessary to run a distributed load test simulation), enabling you to load test with as many virtual users as you want. This is a great step forward to making it simpler and less expensive to ensure that your sites can handle all the load they need to even at your peak season. This load testing Feature Pack is now the 5th Feature Pack we’ve released since we shipped VS/TFS 2010. It’s a great demonstration of the value of your MSDN subscription. Not only does it give you all the great benefits immediately. Over time we will continue to deliver value to you.
