We’re pleased to announce the general availability of the Azure Marketplace for Microsoft Azure Government, as well as welcoming our 3rd party ISV partners. We’ve partnered with some of the top ISVs to provide Azure Government customers with more options for finding the right solutions and quickly spinning up applications that suit their needs. Azure Marketplace is your online store for Virtual Machine images, VM extensions, and more that enable ISVs to offer pre-configured, Azure certified software to customers on the Azure US Government cloud.

For software partners interested in publishing BYOL (bring your own license) images
Below are the recommended steps based on current partner status.
- If you’re already an Azure Certified partner and published in the public Marketplace, you can get started here. Note that a trial subscription for Azure Government will be required to test your image. Depending on demand for entry from other software partners, ETAs for availability of your offers in Azure Marketplace for Government may vary.
- If you’re a new ISV and interested in publishing your solution, you can check prerequisites here before moving on to the publishing steps detailed above.
