“DevSecOps might be the most important thing that’s happened to security in the past 40 years,” said Ron Ross, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Fellow, during a virtual Microsoft Azure Government meetup on May 27 to an audience of nearly 200 attendees.
Ross along with CDR Thomas Sampson of the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter Program Office, and Zach Kramer of Microsoft Azure Government Engineering shared insights on various challenges, best practices, strategies and benefits for agencies to adopt DevSecOps in government. To hear this engaging discussion, watch the panel replay.
Some dynamic demos and presentations were also featured during the meetup with Microsoft’s Nirali Shah demoing OpenShift in a hardened Zero Trust Azure environment; while Anchore, Inc.’s James Peterson and CloudFit Software’s Carroll Moon presented DevSecOps at full speed.
