Instead of relying on keyword search alone, customers can describe their use case in natural language, and Marketplace surfaces relevant solutions with side-by-side comparisons. That means better matching between what you build and how customers discover, evaluate, and buy.
New capabilities include smart search that automatically applies filters and refinements through an action-first experience spanning discovery and purchase. Chat-enabled evaluation and comparison help potential buyers ask questions, compare options, and share findings with their team—making it easier for your solution to move from consideration to adoption. Built on Microsoft Foundry with AI guardrails, the experience is designed to support safe, secure interactions.

With Marketplace, developers can discover, deploy, and manage these components through the same Azure-native workflows they already use, including GitHub-based source control, CI/CD, and automation.
For example, when evaluating models, you can source from leading providers like Anthropic, Cohere, or Mistral—available through Marketplace and Microsoft Foundry—alongside thousands of other open-source options. By sourcing your AI stack through Marketplace, provision components through a consistent workflow, accessed through a common SDK. You can build, evaluate, swap, or extend your stack—whether that’s testing a different model, adding a new tool, or integrating a different service—without reworking your architecture.
With Marketplace, everything is sourced, deployed, and managed in one place. Licensing, billing, and validation are handled end-to-end, so developer teams spend less time on integration overhead and more time building to ship faster.
Scale: publish once, get surfaced everywhere
Publishing through Marketplace does more than create a listing on the Marketplace storefront. It’s a distribution path across Microsoft products customers already use—in their flow of work. Your experiences get contextually surfaced to 95% of the Fortune 500 using Azure, 400 million monthly active Teams users, and 20 million paid Microsoft 365 Copilot seats.
Across the Microsoft stack, Marketplace supports how you want to deliver and monetize your app or agent. As customers increasingly rely on technology providers to lead their AI transformation, Marketplace is building more partner-led sales opportunities.
