We are happy to announce ASP.NET documentation and guidance has been migrated to docs.microsoft.com!

I’m excited to announce the release of Universal Windows Platform (UWP) documentation on Docs.Microsoft.com. Docs.Microsoft.com is the one place for Microsoft’s technical documentation.  As part of this release, we’ve also included the docs for the UWP APIs, Microsoft Edge, and Cortana.

In this week’s episode, we’re running ASP.NET in a Docker image, and we look at some of the changes in the .NET Core .csproj tooling. Apologies to those of you who watched live: we had some technical difficulties, and as a consequence, we did a second recording, which is now on Channel 9.

Twenty-five years ago, I started my first day at Microsoft as a developer on the Access team, and then as a developer on a newly created product – Visual InterDev. I remember how the emphasis was on the Visual part of our various product offerings, we have come a long way to the Visual Studio we have now.

DevOps is all about getting your applications into customers’ hands quickly.
