New Microsoft 365 Developer Program benefits for Visual Studio subscribers

Michael Aldridge
Principal Program Manager

Just in time for Build 2019, the Office 365 Developer Program announces new benefits for Visual Studio Professional subscribers. They join Visual Studio Enterprise subscribers, who began getting these benefits last October.

Launching today, your paid subscription in both programs grants you a free renewable Office 365 developer subscription with up to 25 users.

This can be helpful when you want to create your own sandbox outside of your corporate domain for development and testing purposes.

This also grants you special status in our program. Your subscription will be renewed automatically for as long as you have a valid Visual Studio Professional and Enterprise subscription.

Visual Studio subscribers who are interested in building Office 365 solutions can use this new privilege to explore:

How do I get it?

If you don’t have a Visual Studio Professional or Enterprise subscription and you want one, see the Visual Studio subscription page.

If you already have a Visual Studio Pro or Enterprise subscription, you can get the seamless registration right from your Visual Studio subscriber portal. Go to https://my.visualstudio.com to find it.

How to install the Office 365 developer subscription in your Visual Studio Professional subscription

Just click the Office tile and you will automatically join the Office 365 developer program with your Visual Studio ID.

Stay tuned for more exciting news about great new tools for managing your developer subscriptions in the coming months.

Have a great BUILD 2019!
