We’ve Moved! – Introducing Azure DevOps Service Status Portal

Today, we’re happy to introduce Azure DevOps service status portal which helps with real time insights into active service events and provides further details on the event being investigated. This portal replaces our current experience using this Service blog. No new posts will be posted to this blog and existing subscribers are encouraged to use the rss feed that exists in the new portal.

To help clarify what specific aspects of the service are affected, we will communicate impact of all active events in a 2-dimensional service matrix mapped between services and geographic regions of impacted organizations.

An associated “event log” will be shown for all active events which will supply added context for the event being investigated. Information on past events can be found in the Status History section.

If you are experiencing problems with any of our Azure DevOps services, you can check the service status portal to determine whether this is a known issue with resolution in progress before you call support or spend time troubleshooting.

REST APIs will be made available soon for users looking to build automated solutions to watch service status in a programmatic way. Please stay tuned for more updates in that area.

For more information on the new portal, please refer to the Azure DevOps Service Status documentation.

Sincerely, Sri Harsha Kalavala SRE Program Manager, Azure DevOps
