Scalable AI in Action with Azure Cosmos DB – A Monthly Partner Showcase

As AI continues to reshape industries, customers are seeking scalable, real-time solutions that integrate seamlessly with their existing data platforms. Azure Cosmos DB, with its global distribution, low latency, and multi-model support, is uniquely positioned to power intelligent applications at scale.

To help customers explore what’s possible, we’re launching the Scalable AI in Action with Azure Cosmos DB series—a monthly video session that highlights how partners are building transformative AI solutions using Azure Cosmos DB and Azure AI services.

This initiative is designed to:

  • Showcase real-world architectures and use cases from trusted partners
  • Help customers understand how to scale AI workloads with Azure Cosmos DB
  • Provide actionable insights and demos that accelerate solution development

 

What’s Included in Each Session

Each session runs for 1 hour and follows a consistent format to maximize learning and engagement:

  • Welcome & Theme Introduction – Kick things off with an overview of why scalable AI matters and how Azure Cosmos DB helps make it really work.
  • Leadership Fireside Chat – Hear directly from partner leadership about their AI vision, product strategy, and how Azure Cosmos DB powers scale and performance.
  • Architecture Spotlight & Demo – Dive into the technical details of the partner’s solution—see Azure Cosmos DB in action with vector embeddings, hybrid search, model serving, and Azure AI integration.

Execution Format

  • Live Timing: Sessions are held every month refer upcoming sessions section for the current schedule.

  • 31st July 2025: We have hosted Arpit Gupta, founder of MLAI, who have shared challenges & opportunities in BFSI world for GenAI application during leadership fireside chat which was followed by deep dive architecture walkthrough with demonstration of his Intelligent conversational platform for BFSI, powered by Azure Cosmos DB. Thereafter Manish Sharma who is part of Azure Cosmos DB Engineering also the host have provided the walkthrough of latest features with addressing Audience’s submitted / live Q&A.   • 28th August 2025: In the August edition of the Scalable AI in Action with Azure Cosmos DB series, we were thrilled to host MAQ Software, where Keshav and Ankita showcased their AI solution. The session began with a leadership conversation that explored strategic questions posed to Keshav, followed by Ankita’s detailed walkthrough of the solution architecture, live demo, and code-level insights of the solution name called “FindFast”. I also presented the latest innovations in Azure Cosmos DB for MongoDB vCore and Apache Cassandra MI, highlighting performance, scalability, and native vector search capabilities.   • 26th September 2025: In the September edition of the Scalable AI in Action with Azure Cosmos DB series, we were excited to host Affine.AI, where Dr Param and Rana Pratap showcased their AI solution, Eryl. The session began with a leadership conversation exploring strategic perspectives on scaling AI in production. This was followed by a detailed walkthrough of Eryl’s architecture, live demo, and code-level insights. I also presented the latest innovations in Azure Cosmos DB, including the Full Text Search feature, highlighting its role in powering intelligent applications. The session concluded with a Q&A segment addressing audience-submitted questions.   • 30th October 2025: In the October edition of the Scalable AI in Action with Azure Cosmos DB, we have hosted Celebal Technologies, where we had a Fireside chat with Mr. Anirudh Kala, founder – Celebal Technologies, and his technical team demonstrated their GenAI-powered Intelligent Contact Centre solution suite called AICXM. The session featured an end-to-end demo, code walkthrough, and architecture framework, highlighting how AI can transform customer engagement at scale.   • 27th November 2025: In the November edition of Scalable AI in Action with Azure Cosmos DB, we welcomed Kunaal Kapoor, Chief Growth Officer at Neudesic (an IBM company), who shared insights on GenAI solution trends and how Azure Cosmos DB meets planet-scale and extreme performance demands. Abhilash Thomas, VP Technologies, showcased their knowledge graph-based GenAI solution, designed to help customers boost productivity while achieving the lowest possible turnaround time.   • 22nd December 2025: In the December edition of Scalable in Action with Azure Cosmos DB, Arpit from MLAI Digital and Alex from Adiom demonstrated how enterprises can adopt GenAI without disrupting their existing systems. They showcased an elegant approach where GenAI capabilities are layered on top of current architectures—no source‑code rewrites, no schema changes, and no surge in upstream GenAI API calls. Their demo highlighted how organizations can securely expose insights, automate workflows, and modernize user experiences using GenAI pipelines that work alongside legacy systems, not against them.   • 9th February 2026: In the January 2026 edition of Scalable AI with Azure Cosmos DB, Datavail showcased a real‑world GenAI solution built using Azure Cosmos DB, Azure AI Foundry, and Azure AI Search, demonstrating how scalable data and search foundations are critical for production‑ready AI applications. The session highlighted Datavail’s approach to building future‑proof GenAI architectures, combining vector search, hybrid search, and enterprise‑grade performance to support evolving AI workloads at scale.
