Overview

We’re excited to introduce a new VS Code extension for vCore-based Azure Cosmos DB for MongoDB ! This tool allows users to connect, query, and manage vCore-based Azure Cosmos DB for MongoDB directly within VS Code, streamlining your workflow.

Limited Private Preview 

We’re currently offering a limited private preview of the VSCode extension for vCore-based Azure Cosmos DB for MongoDB.

Features Supported 

  • List vCore-bsased Azure Cosmos DB for MongoDB Resources
  • Connect to a cluster as an admin or user 
  • View metadata 
  • Execute find queries 
  • Edit, Delete, Update documents 
  • View indexes 
  • Create and Drop Databases and Collections 
  • View data in JSON, Table, and Tree views 
  • View data for multiple collections simultaneously 

What to Expect 

As this is a private preview release, you might encounter some rough edges. But your feedback is crucial to us, so don’t hesitate to share any thoughts, bugs, or improvements you think of. Your input will help shape future versions of this extension.
