Please RSVP and join us for the next DC Microsoft Azure Gov Meetup, Internet of Things for Government, on Wednesday, Oct. 26, from 6 – 8 p.m., at 1776 in Washington, DC. In addition to excellent networking, we are excited to feature Kevin Miller, principal program manager of Microsoft’s Azure IoT team who will be in town from Redmond, Washington.
During this Meetup, we will explore some of the ways IoT is being used across various industries today, with a focus on public sector. You will hear about newly available technologies and technology patterns that are enabling the next generation of organizational transformations.
IoT is part of what some are calling the fourth industrial revolution; changing the way we live and work. For organizations, IoT provides opportunities to increase their return on investment by decreasing costs and increasing returns in existing operations, while delivering value and new services to citizens.
In addition to Kevin, Yared Tsegaye, senior software engineer at Applied Information Services will showcase an innovative IoT demo with Azure IoT Hub, R, Azure ML and Power BI. Ryan Socal, senior program manager with the Microsoft Azure Government team, will also provide a preview of the new Azure Government documentation program.
We hope you will be able to join us at this Meetup to take advantage of this opportunity to discuss and learn more about IoT! For agenda details, please visit the DC Azure Gov Meetup site.
