Azure Gov DC Meetup recap: How Cloud Can Drive #GovInnovation + Solution Showcase

Karina Homme
Senior Director

“Cloud is not a migration, it’s a transformation,” stated Kevin Jackson, advance technology & business strategy expert and founder/author of the award-winning blog, Cloud Musings, at a recent Azure Gov DC Meetup, How Cloud Can Drive #GovInnovation + Solution Showcase, at 1776 in Washington, DC.

Jackson was one of four presenters who shared their experience, best practices, demos, and customer use cases with the Microsoft Azure Gov DC user community on successfully transitioning to the cloud.

Featured speakers also included: Brett Goldsmith and Jim Mullennnix of AIS who discussed moving a high-profile application to production in Azure Gov, and Dr. Carlton Reeves from C3 IoT who shared valuable use cases, including Caterpillar, 3M, and the US Air Force.
