Check out the Getting Started Guide for instructions. The new API gives you access to the in-box Fire TV remote, the Amazon Fire game controller, and other game controllers that support the Bluetooth HID gamepad profile. We have upgraded our sample Flappy Monkey game, which we open sourced this past February, with the Amazon Fire TV Component to add full notification and game controller support to get you going.

Delivering on our “delight developers” mantra at Xamarin means giving you the ability to take advantage of the latest mobile form factors.  For traditional mobile devices—phones and tablets—we have shipped same day support for iOS since iOS 5 was released including the latest iOS 7.1 release, as well as timely support for new versions of Android, so that you have the latest features as soon as they are released.
