Here are a few highlights of the new documentation experience:<\/p>\n<h2>Xamarin Docs Hub<\/h2>\n<p>All our documentation options are a click or two away from <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.microsoft.com\/xamarin\/\">docs.microsoft.com\/xamarin<\/a>. Click <b>Xamarin<\/b> in the header to return there from any page. Use the platform links to see our mobile developer docs, and switch to the <b>Graphics &amp; Games<\/b> or <b>Tools<\/b> tabs to learn more about related topics such as SkiaSharp, Workbooks, and the Xamarin Live Player.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/devblogs.microsoft.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/44\/2019\/03\/docs-hub-small.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-35935\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>New Navigation<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.microsoft.com\/xamarin\/\"><b>docs.microsoft.com\/xamarin<\/b><\/a> offers some new options for navigating Xamarin documentation:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/devblogs.microsoft.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/44\/2019\/03\/docs-page-small.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"447\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-35934\" \/><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><b>Platform home pages<\/b>: Overview and quick reference for the docs available on each platform. Use the links in the blue header bar to visit each platform page:\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.microsoft.com\/xamarin\/android\/\">Android<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.microsoft.com\/xamarin\/ios\">iOS<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.microsoft.com\/xamarin\/mac\/\">Mac<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.microsoft.com\/xamarin\/xamarin-forms\/\">Xamarin.Forms<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><b>Search<\/b>: Click the magnifying glass at the right of the header to search Xamarin content.<\/li>\n<li><b>Breadcrumbs<\/b>: Tucked under the header, breadcrumbs help find your way to related docs.<\/li>\n<li><b>Navigation tree<\/b>:\u00a0Quickly drill down using the tree-view.<\/li>\n<li><b>Navigation filter<\/b>: Filter the navigation tree to find a topic heading.<\/li>\n<li><b>In this article<\/b>: Each article has a table of contents generated, including a handy indicator for your scroll location in the doc.<\/li>\n<li><b>Image zoom<\/b>: Images with a magnifying glass icon in the bottom-right corner can be clicked to show more detail.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>Video<\/h2>\n<p>Presentations and lessons from evangelists and Xamarin University are now available inline, such as this <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.microsoft.com\/xamarin\/xamarin-forms\/user-interface\/controls\/layouts\">Xamarin.Forms Layouts<\/a> topic:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/devblogs.microsoft.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/44\/2019\/03\/docs-video-small.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"342\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-35937\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Open Source<\/h2>\n<p>Each page contains an <b>Edit<\/b> link so that the community can contribute fixes and updates. Comments on the docs become GitHub issues so you track the progress of your docs feedback. Read the <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/MicrosoftDocs\/xamarin-docs\/blob\/live\/CONTRIBUTING.md\">contribution guidelines<\/a> for instructions on submitting changes.<\/p>\n<h2>In Your Language<\/h2>\n<p>Using a combination of translation techniques, Xamarin developer documentation is now available in 13 languages besides English: Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), Czech, French, Italian, Korean, German, Japanese, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Spanish, and Turkish. Visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.microsoft.com\/en-us\/teamblog\/announcing-new-international-features\">docs blog<\/a> for more information on international features.<\/p>\n<h2>Editor Switcher<\/h2>\n<p>Sometimes you need instructions specific to either Visual Studio 2017 or Visual Studio for Mac. The team is working hard to migrate these over to create a unified experience.
