For the Windows focused, systemd allows similar functionality to Windows Services, there is a post on how to do what we discuss here for Windows Services in <a href=\"https:\/\/devblogs.microsoft.com\/aspnet\/net-core-workers-as-windows-services\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">this<\/a> post. This work was contributed by <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/tomdeseyn\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Tom Deseyn<\/a> from <a href=\"https:\/\/developers.redhat.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Red Hat<\/a>. In this post we will create a .NET Core app that runs as a systemd service.
