Chris Smith, an SDET on the Deployment feature team, and been burrning up the blog-o-sphere with great information on the Generic Bootstrapper<\/a>.  Check out his posts regarding a description of the bootstrapper<\/a>, what is a homesite<\/a>, how the bootstrapper resource strings are being sim-shipped<\/a> allowing you to target cross language deployment scenarios, and how to check for 64bit<\/a> dependencies.  Additionally he has some good information on the unique testing requirements<\/a> in this area.  Overall his blog is a great resource for yet another cool new feature we are delivering for the whole VS experience – keep up the great blog Chris!<\/p>\n
