Maybe I’m the last one to realize this, but in case I’m not I wanted to share with the rest of you.<\/p>\n
When I became I Microsoft MVP<\/a> back in January 2004, I was entitled<\/a> to a free MSDN Magazine<\/a> subscription. I’ve had this before and it is a great magazine comprised of interesting, helpful articles by some very good authors. My subscription just ran out last month but I decided not to renew because it’s available online for free and now I’d have to pay for it. I do miss having it in-hand, however, during long flights and other times when it’d be nice to read.<\/p>\n Stephen Toub<\/a> — author of the “.NET Matters” columns in MSDN Magazine — announced<\/a> that the November 2005 MSDN Magazine edition was now available online and for download in HTML Help format (.chm<\/em> files), too! I was amazed. I checked the archives and found they started doing this in January 2005<\/a>. Just on the “cover” of the issue is an image button that reads “HTML Help Format” and specifies the file size.<\/p>\n While it may not be a periodical in-hand, it’s good enough that whether or not I have an Internet connection I still can read MSDN Magazine!<\/p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Maybe I’m the last one to realize this, but in case I’m not I wanted to share with the rest of you.
