I can&#8217;t just unsubscribe\nto be rid of those bad feed items because this is the MSDN aggregated feed and I\nlike the variety of news.<\/p>\n<p>Fortunately, the Windows RSS Platform exposes APIs to any COM-compatible\nlanguages and technologies like C++, .NET, and Windows Script Host. It also provides a\n<a href=\"http:\/\/msdn.microsoft.com\/library\/en-us\/FeedsAPI\/rss\/reference\/methods\/delete_2.asp\">\nmeans<\/a> of deleting a particular feed item from the feed cache.<\/p>\n<p>To use the provided script, just\n<a href=\"http:\/\/hstewart.members.winisp.net\/downloads\/rss.zip\">download<\/a> it, unzip it, and type the following on the\ncommand line.<\/p>\n<p><font face=\"monospace\">cscript \/\/job:DeleteFeedItem <i>path<\/i>rss.wsf \/url:<i>permalink<\/i><\/font><\/p>\n<p>This script is not supported by Microsoft, but feel free\nto post comments and questions here.
