Summary<\/strong>: Microsoft Scripting Guy, Ed Wilson, talks about getting the Scripting Guys booth set up for TechEd 2013 in New Orleans.<\/p>\n

The Scripting Wife and I arrived in New Orleans for TechEd 2013 North America, and the first thing we did was head to the Convention Center to register and to check out the Scripting Guys booth. It was a beautiful day as we headed down Canal Street, and we decided to walk the mile or so to the Convention Center (a great way to stretch the legs after sitting for two hours in a plane). I snapped a few pictures.<\/p>\n

One of the cool things about New Orleans is the trolleys. Here is one that buzzed past us as we walked down the street.<\/p>\n

We knew immediately we had arrived at the right location because of the giant Welcome sign mounted on the side of the Convention Center. It was really cool – see for yourself.<\/p>\n

Following registration, the Scripting Wife and I had to look around a bit to find our booth. The first thing we found was a big sign listing for the aisle numbers. We are just past aisle 800 as seen here.<\/p>\n

Cool. Just past Aisle 800, we came to the bit Community Resource Zone. This is where the Scripting Guys booth is this year. Here is a close up of the Community Resource Zone.<\/p>\n

The booth itself is actually pretty cool, and we are on the corner of two intersecting path ways – so that is nice. Here is a picture of the booth.<\/p>\n

We even have our own lounge area where we can hang out and talk about all things PowerShell. Check it out.<\/p>\n

It is getting late, and we still have a lot of stuff to do. The booths open tomorow morning after the keynote, and I hope you will stop by to say hello. We are sharing our space with the people from PowerShell.org, and they made up some Dr. Scripto fun books. We will be handing those out. It will be fun. We have a great line-up of guests for the booth, and they are all listed on Teresa’s TechEd Schedule posting<\/a>.
