In the following example, the&nbsp;<b>$array<\/b>&nbsp;variable contains an array. <br \/>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; The next line checks to see if the number 2 is in the array. It is, and the method returns&nbsp;<b>True<\/b>. <br \/>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Next, the&nbsp;<b>Contains<\/b>&nbsp;method checks for the number 12.
