The Scripting Wife Scripts a Pedicure (2010)

Well, the Scripting Guy seems to have gone missing! I am not sure where he is, and I am afraid to look for him, because I might disturb him. Yesterday was pretty rough, and the ability to upload scripts seemed like it was down most of the afternoon. He spent a lot time on the phone, sending e-mails, tweeting, and posting stuff to Facebook. Interestingly enough, I was able to upload my script in the morning with no problem at all.

When the rankings for the second day came out, I saw that I was in twentieth place, which I think is great considering I have not been writing scripts very long. Anyway, I am not sure what I am supposed to do with today’s event—figure out how many CPUs are on the computer using an environmental variable. Well, duh, there is an environmental drive, so that is all I did. But I probably will not win very many points for it. I was thinking about doing some of that fancy stuff to get more points, but then, hey, if it works why mess with it? So in the end, I just typed my one line of code and I was done.

The Script Monkey might not know it, but he is not going to get away with taking me to McDonalds for my prize I don’t care if it’s a world-famous restaurant. I got us tickets to see the Phantom of the Opera, and I used his credit card! Well, I am going to e-mail this to him, and I think I am going to go get my nails done—all this typing caused me to break a nail. While I am there, I might get a pedicure too (not that I type with my feet).
