Event Scenario

You are getting ready to perform a migration from Windows XP to Windows 7, and your boss has asked you to determine if the computers have enough CPU speed to run Windows 7. You need only to retrieve the CPU speed of your local computer to meet the needs of this scenario.

Design Points

·         Extra points granted if your script will work on local and remote computers.

·         Your script should display the name of the computer and the CPU speed.

·         Extra points if your script reports the family and maker of the CPU.

·         You can display the output in the Windows PowerShell console or in the Windows PowerShell ISE, if you are writing in Windows PowerShell.

·         If you are writing in VBScript, you can display to either at cmd prompt or in a Windows dialog box.

·         If you choose to write to a Windows dialog box, you should write to only one dialog box, and not to multiple dialog boxes.
