{"id":36379,"date":"2019-04-09T12:50:14","date_gmt":"2019-04-09T19:50:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/devblogs.microsoft.com\/premier-developer\/?page_id=36379"},"modified":"2025-03-31T11:47:49","modified_gmt":"2025-03-31T18:47:49","slug":"about-us","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/devblogs.microsoft.com\/premier-developer\/about-us\/","title":{"rendered":"About Us"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Thanks for visiting our blog.\u00a0 You might have noticed this isn\u2019t a typical Microsoft blog focusing on a particular product.\u00a0 Here you will find posts and tidbits of information that span just about every development technology we touch.\u00a0 If you are a developer, that\u2019s the world you live in today.\u00a0 Gone are the days when you could specialize in a couple of core technical areas.\u00a0 Today, you have to navigate an industry that is deep in the transformation of how products are architected, monetized, and delivered to customers.\u00a0 That requires constant attention to what is changing in the cloud, re-evaluating developer tool sets, and making smart decisions so that your applications are positioned to benefit from innovation and change.\u00a0 It\u2019s tough to do on your own.<\/p>\n<p>Our team is made up of Azure Certified developers and architects who enable Microsoft\u2019s largest and most strategic customers to build better software.\u00a0 While many of you may be familiar with making the occasional call to Microsoft Support, the strategic nature of our relationship depends on a <em>durable presence<\/em> that persists across the product development roadmap.\u00a0 It&#8217;s with the knowledge of our client&#8217;s solutions, their team goals, and their business, that we become <i>a person<\/i> they can count on to keep their teams moving forward.\u00a0 We\u2019re the partnership, beyond the support center.<\/p>\n<p>If you are part of a team building commercial or enterprise software that touches Microsoft technologies, you probably have a Unified Support relationship in place.\u00a0 We\u2019re part of that family of services and our charter is to empower developers to achieve more across the software lifecycle.\u00a0 That\u2019s a really broad statement because it includes so many aspects of development \u2013 process, tools, integration, SDKs, training, advisory services, and more.\u00a0 We\u2019re part of your development team, <em>here at Microsoft.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Our blog is made up of contributions from our team members (and a few featured product team members) based on experiences and insights from supporting our customers. \u00a0It covers a lot of different technologies, because\u2013 that\u2019s the world developers work in today.\u00a0 Desktop, Cloud, Mobile, IoT, DevOps, and every SDK you can think of &#8211;
