Filing Bugs<\/font><\/font><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

We need your help to make sure PowerShell isn’t just a great product, but a very high-quality product! If you run into any bug or usability issue, please file a bug, even if you see a typo in the documentation.<\/font><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

We’ve set up a bug reporting area on Microsoft Connect for you to:<\/font><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7<\/font>         <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Submit your bugs<\/font><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7<\/font>         <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Vote on issues that others have found<\/font><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7<\/font>         <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Search for workarounds and resolutions to your issues. <\/font><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

These bugs are sent directly to the team, and every single one is looked at.<\/font><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

If you haven’t used the PowerShell Connect site before, you’ll need to register first:<\/font><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

1.<\/font>       <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Visit <\/font>http:\/\/connect.microsoft.com\/<\/font><\/a> <\/font><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

2.<\/font>       <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Sign in (top right) using your Microsoft passport credentials.<\/font><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

3.<\/font>       <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Click on “Available Connections”. <\/font><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

4.<\/font>       <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Click “Apply” next to the item “Windows PowerShell”<\/font><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

5.<\/font>       <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Click the “Submit Feedback” link on the left navigation bar to submit new bugs and suggestions. <\/font><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

6.<\/font>       <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Click the “Feedback” link on the left navigation bar to track your submitted bugs and suggestions, as well as view, vote, and comment on bugs and suggestions submitted by others.<\/font><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

If you are already subscribed to the PowerShell Connect site:<\/font><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

1.<\/font>       <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Click on “My Participation” and sign in with your Microsoft Passport credentials. <\/font><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

2.<\/font>       <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Click “Windows PowerShell” <\/font><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n
